Dr. Merene Wong
Optometrist in Thornhill, Ontario
Dr. Merene Wong is a certified optometrist by the College of Optometrists of Ontario. She received her Doctor of Optometry degree with Dean's Honours from the University of Waterloo in 2008. She completed her clinical education at OMNI Eye Specialists in Baltimore, where she received extensive training and gained immense knowledge in the care and management of patients with retinal diseases, cataracts, glaucoma, and corneal conditions.
Born and raised in Toronto, Dr. Wong decided to return to the GTA after graduation to give back to her community by providing comprehensive eye examinations for people of all ages. Even before Dr. Wong became an optometrist, she would volunteer for the CNIB and for the visually impaired at the University of Waterloo. Practicing all aspects of optometry and providing the latest in eye health care has given Dr. Wong great joy.
Dr. Wong can provide eye care in English and Cantonese. During her spare time, she enjoys spending time with her family, baking with her children, and exploring new places.
